Delivery

Our EDO range is fully stocked in our UK warehouse. We offer a variety of shipping methods which are available on the checkout.

A Wide Range of Patterns

We offer a comprehensive range of patterns – from wall panels that evoke the traditional Japanese Kumiko designs to contemporary neo art deco styles that can withstand the test of time. Our selection includes more defined panel styles, such as beehive honeycomb patterns, peak patterns, and 3D faux-brick patterns.

A Variety of Colours

How do you make your walls look modern while also reflecting your personality? We can give traditional-looking wood panels a contemporary flair by utilising the right colours. This ultimately blends that classic aesthetic of wood panelling with a more modernised look. The wide array of colours and finishes give everyone the ability to adapt these wall panels to their ideal style – whatever that may be.

Tasteful and Restrained Design

The traditional Japanese aesthetic greatly impacted the design culture of the region and inspired subsequent trends, such as Modernism and Art Deco. These designs still live on today, and they have been blended with contemporary techniques to create state-of-the-art patterned wall panels.

Patterned Wall Panels FAQ

What size are the EDO panels?

The panels come in a standard size of 240cm x 60cm, with an overall thickness of 12mm.

Do you produce custom panel sizes?

We do not currently offer panels in custom sizes. However, they are designed to be cut down if you need a smaller size quickly - the can also be seamlessly joined to cover a larger area.

How do you calculate coverage for your patterned wall panels?

How much wood wall panelling do you need for your DIY project? That depends on the nature of your project! Wooden sheets come in many styles and sizes, so you’ll have to add up how much you need once you’ve chosen your wall panelling design. You should also always purchase about 10 percent more wall panelling than you think you’ll need, to err on the side of caution.

For some wall panelling, like tongue and groove, you need to calculate the total area of coverage. For other panelling sheets, you just need the width of your wall. We also recommend spacing your wood panels apart evenly. Width between panelling sheets should be about 600mm. You need space in between panels in case the wood expands or retracts in higher or lower temperatures.

You can also measure windows and doors and subtract those dimensions from your overall count. Or you could leave them in, to ensure you have that extra 10 percent of wood panelling. You never know if something will go wrong!

How do you install the EDO wall panelling?

We recommend screwing the panels directly into the wall with black screws through the gaps between the slats. You can glue the panels to the wall, however this will make them harder to remove if needed at a later date.

Can the panels be used outside?

The panels are designed for interior use only.

Can the panels be used in a bathroom or kitchen?

The panels will be absolutely fine in these areas, as long as they are not in direct contact with water or excessive heat. We recommend treating them wherever possible, to ensure the panels are protected when exposed to water and heat.

On which surfaces can I install patterned wall panels?

You can mount the panels on all surfaces including brick, concrete and plasterboard walls.

What do I do if I have plug sockets, windows or other items to install around?

It is straightforward to adjust the panels to fit around any object - they can be cut both width and length ways with a saw, and any edges can easily be sanded down for a smooth finish.

Can I hide wires behind the panels?

Yes, you certainly can!

Do the colours in the pictures look like the panels in real life?

The wood is always used from the same source, so they will look more or less the same as the images online. As it is a natural wood, however, there can be some knots, slight cracks and colour variations between batches. If you want to see a picture of the most recent batch you may receive your panels from, please do get in touch.

Can we come to see the panels?

The EDO range is on display in our warehouse in Leighton Buzzard so if you would like to come and see the panels in person you are more than welcome!

What is your return policy?

You can return any unused panels within 30 days of delivery. For further returns information, please click here
