How to install
  1. 1

    Prepare the surface

    The surface should be flat, smooth, clean, and dust-free. Most rigid surfaces work, including MDF, plywood, painted walls, doors, and cabinet faces. Avoid surfaces with high humidity or heat exposure that could degrade the adhesive.

  2. 2

    Cut to size

    Cut from the back face with a sharp craft knife or fine-tooth saw. The thin veneer makes hand cutting straightforward. For curves or tight corners, use light pressure with multiple passes for clean lines.

  3. 3

    Peel and stick

    Peel back a corner of the paper backing to expose the adhesive. Place the corner on the surface, press firmly, then peel and press the rest of the sheet, working any bubbles toward the edges as you go.

  4. 4

    Stain or finish

    The veneer arrives unfinished and unsanded. Apply stain, oil, wax, or varnish directly. The thin veneer takes finish quickly and evenly with no preparation needed.

What is Peel & Stick? Peel & Stick or Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) is our new product designed with ease of use in mind. The ultra flexible veneer is bonded to paper backing which when peeled off will provide a strong adhesive which will stick to any flat surface. It is easy to cut down to any required size or shape and the veneers thin structure gives the flexibility to the sheet which allows it mould around curves and other tricky orientations. This makes Peel & Stick a popular choice for all projects simple to complex.

Being a natural product the colour may slightly differ from the picture shown and please note that this product comes unfinished and unsanded meaning that any stain, varnish or any other finish you may want can be applied straight away without the need of sanding.

Size Options Available in 200cm x 60cm (79" x 24") and 200cm x 30cm (79" x 12") and 250cm x 60cm (98" x 24") and 250cm x 30cm (98" x 12"). You can select your required size from above.

Frequently asked questions

Real wood veneer with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing. The thin veneer is sliced from solid timber and paper-mounted, with adhesive on the reverse ready to bond to any flat surface in seconds.

The PSA bond is designed for permanent installation. Removal is possible but may damage the substrate or leave residue. For projects where you may want to remove or reposition the veneer later, traditional paper-backed veneer with a separate adhesive is a better choice.

Any flat, smooth, rigid surface. MDF, plywood, chipboard, painted walls, cabinet doors, drawer faces. Avoid surfaces with active moisture, high heat, or oil-based gloss paints, as these can compromise the adhesive bond.

Each sheet is 200cm long. Choose between 30cm wide (covering 0.6 m²) or 60cm wide (covering 1.2 m²). Cut to size before bonding for any non-rectangular space.

Most peel-and-stick veneers arrive unfinished and unsanded, ready for stain, oil, wax, or varnish straight from the box. The Bespoke range includes pre-finished options that ship ready to install. Each product's spec table lists the finish state.

Peel-and-stick wood veneer is not sold with an independent fire-rating certificate. If you need certified fire performance for a commercial specification, see our Acupanel® Fire-Rated range, certified to B-s1, d0 under BS EN 13501-1.

We offer free delivery to mainland UK on most orders. Delivery to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and offshore islands incurs a surcharge calculated at checkout. You are also welcome to collect from our warehouse in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

You can return unused products within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in their original, undamaged packaging. Refunds are processed once we receive and inspect the return. For full terms including sample returns, visit our returns page or contact our customer service team.

This is a characteristic of genuine wood, not a defect. We always recommend ordering a sample to confirm the colour and texture in your own lighting.
