Yes! You can add a finish or stain to any of our natural wood panels. Our oiled panels will need sanding back before applying extra finishes!
It is important to note that our engineered wood panels aren't suitable for oiling!
What’s the difference between standard, premium & premium oiled?
Standard is an engineered wood to ensure colour consistency. This is not oiled and has a natural finish.
Premium panels are engineered wood, man-made and created by layering thin slices of natural wood into a block, and slicing it to create a new grain pattern. It offers a cost-effective, consistent and sustainable finish compared to standard finish. It's favored for its stability and consistency in appearance, and suitability for various interior applications such as furniture, cabinetry, and wall coverings.
Premium oiled is natural wood with a decorative oil to enhance the wood grain.
Can panels be used in a bathroom or kitchen?
As long as the panels are not in direct contact with water they are fine to use in kitchens or bathrooms. We do recommend applying a water-resistant finish to the front of the slats to protect them against any moisture or humidity wherever possible.
