Combining the trend slat format with an ancient stone sourced from the Himalayan Mountains, Acupanel has created a brand new acoustic stone panelling range. The Acupanel stone range uses the latest technology meaning the stone can be sliced very thin. Once sliced, the stone veneer is applied to slats, creating real stone wall panels that look incredible in your space and add a bit of Himalayan history!
100% REAL Stone Veneer
Using the latest engineering technology, we’re able to cut stone into thin veneers and apply these to the tops of our Acupanels.
By doing so we can create real stone wall panels that look truly amazing in your home.
You will want to reach out and touch the texture for yourself.
Stone from Himalayan Mountains
We protect the best interests of the environment by using stone which is naturally sourced from the Himalayan mountains.
Our ethical practices are leveraged with a genuine desire to save the planet, so we can transport authentic Himalayan stones over 4,500 miles with a clear conscience.
Acupanel Acoustic Properties
As with all of our Acupanel range, these stone veneered slat panels are mounted to an acoustic felt backing to help dampen noise vibrations through the walls of your home.
And the natural stone veneer goes some way to enhancing this feature a little further.
Are the stone wall panels made from real stone?
Yes. These Acupanels feature stone veneers cut from 100% authentic Himalayan stone. The stone textures are completely natural and we’ve ensured that the beautiful patterns are continued across each of our Acupanels. This also means that no two stone wall panels are alike. Everything is completely natural, unique and quite wonderful to behold. You can return unused Acupanels within 30 days after delivery.
Is the stone ethically sourced?
Yes. At The Wood Veneer Hub, we believe in doing things the right way, which is why we have a sustainable source of materials from only the very best suppliers around the world. It is our ethos to provide you with the best quality products for your home and in order for us to do that consistently, our materials need to be sourced sustainably and ethically.
Do the panels come in larger sizes?
The panels only come in one size, but we have designed them to join both widthways and long ways seamlessly so any length or width can easily be achieved.
How do I install the panels?
If you are looking to obtain a class A sound absorption, then we recommend installing the panels with batons. However, if you would like to have them for decorative purposes while still providing some sound absorption, we recommend screwing the panels directly into the wall through the acoustic felt backing using black or grey screws depending on your choice of backing.
What is the lead time for Acupanel®?
The panels are usually in stock, so delivery takes 1-2 days. If we do have to wait for a new production run then it can be 2-3 weeks but please get in contact at the point of order, and we can confirm this right away.
Do you produce custom panel sizes?
We do not currently offer the panels in custom sizes; however, we have designed them to be easily cut if you need smaller. They also join together seamlessly if you need bigger.
Can the panels be used in a bathroom or kitchen?
The panels will be absolutely fine in these areas as long as they are not in direct contact of water.
Can the acoustical panels be used outside?
The Acupanel range is designed for indoor use only.
What do I do if I have plug sockets, windows or other items to install around?
It is straightforward to adjust the panels to fit around any object. You can cut the slats widthways with a saw, and you can cut the felt lengthways with a sharp blade to then apply around any item you may have on your surface.
On which surfaces can I install the Acupanel® panels?
You can mount the panels on all surfaces including brick, concrete and plasterboard walls.
Do the colours of the pictures look like the panels in real life?
The wood used is always from the same source so they will always look more or less the same. It is natural wood, however, so knots, slight cracks and colour variations can occur. Get in toch if you would like us to send you pictures of the exact batch you could potentially receive.
Can we come to see the panels?
Our Acupanel range is on display in our warehouse in Leighton Buzzard so if you would like to come and see the panels in person you are more than welcome.
How can I hide the edges of the panel?
The panels look beautiful as they are, but we do offer individual slats if you would like to install one to the side of your Acupanel hiding the edges.
Can I hide wires behind the panels?
You certainly can.
Can I apply anything behind the panels to increase sound insulation?
If installing with batons, then you can use mineral wool or other sound insulation material in-between the gaps which will increase the sound absorption properties even more.
What is your return policy?
You can return unused Acupanels within 30 days after delivery.
