Description
Wood Veneer Description The Sycamore tree can be rotary cut, peeled or sliced depending on the logs character. The rotary option will give much larger sheets with wider grain patterns whilst the slicing will give both plain and figured veneer. It is almost White in colour but care has to be taken when slicing when drying otherwise the veneer turns Yellow very quickly. The veneer has a hard dense grain which finishes very well.
Please be aware that width measurements are taken from the middle part of the sheet. This means that the width may taper below or above the stated measurement so please allow for an extra few cm or get in contact for exact measurements.
