Easily compliment elements of your home with the special touch of customized accent lighting. 360-degrees of warm, neutral, or cool lighting, with three different brightness settings to highlight decor, spotlight a picture frame, or just add an inviting glow to a space. Designed to seamlessly integrate with selected Acupanel® original Acoustic and the Acupanel® Luxe Wide Slat wood wall panels, the LED Beam is a DIY-friendly product. Each Glow Beam light is sold individually and packed with the screws required to attach the base to your panels, or to a plain wall. No need to hide cords or hardwire your light in - the Glow Beam is wireless, and can easily be removed from the base for charging thanks to the magnetized ball bearing base. Which panels do the Beam light fit?
Acupanel® Glow Beam is designed to fit the original Acupanel® Acoustic Slat Wood and the Acoustic Slat Color. It will also fit in our Acupanel Luxe and Elegance panel ranges! View all Beam-compatible panels here.
Is the light cordless?
The Acupanel® Glow Beam is cordless. No need to plug into an outlet. It's rechargable by USB-C and can be quickly removed from the magnetic base for easy charging.
Can the Beam be used as a reading light?
The brightest setting on this light is 320 lumens, and a desk lamp is typically 500-800 lumens to be considered a comfortable reading light. However, it can be quickly removed from the base to use as a handheld light source as desired.
What is the Beam light best used for?
While the Beam may not be suitable as the primary light source for larger spaces, it's ideal for accent lighting, or creating a cozy ambiance in smaller areas.
What size is the Beam light?
The Acupanel® Glow Beam light measures 7.49cm in diameter.
How many lights come in the box?
There is one Acupanel® Glow Beam per box.
Does this light come in different sizes?
The Acupanel® Glow Beam is only available in one size.
Does this light have a cool or a warm tone?
Acupanel® Glow Beam has three temperature settings: Warm (2700K), Natural (4000K), and Cool (5700K). To change the color temperature of the light, long press the power button for two second to start cycling through the Cool, Natural and Warm light settings.
Is the light dimmable?
Acupanel® Glow Beam has three light settings. Simply tap the back of the LED unit to toggle between the low, medium, and high brightness settings.
Does the Acupanel® Beam work with a remote?
The Acupanel® Beam light is not compatible with a remote.
Can the Acupanel® Glow Beam be used with a smart devices or Wi-Fi, or smart home systems?
The Acupanel® Beam is not Wi-Fi compatible and cannot be controlled with a smart device or home system.
How do I charge the Acupanel® Glow Beam Rechargeable LED Light?
Simply remove the LED head from the magnetic ball bearing, and use the provided USB to USB-C cable to charge the unit. When charging, a small red light appears next to the charging port, and once fully charges, this turns green.
How long does it take for the Beam to charge?
The Acupanel® Glow Beam takes approximately 4-5 hours to charge fully.
Can I keep the light on my wall while it's charging?
Because the USB-C charging port is next to the magnetic mounting point, the light needs to be removed from the base to charge. The light can be on while charging, as long as it has enough power.
What is the power restriction for charging?
Do not use a charger with more than 5V. A phone charger is recommended. A charger for a laptop or tablet contains more voltage than needed.
How long does a single charge last on the light?
A single charge can last up to 20 hours. The time varies depending on the brightness of the light, and the color tone selected. Run time times are approximate: 20 hours on low, 8 hours on medium, and 5 hours on high.
Can I save my brightness and temperature settings?
You can! To access the Memory function and retain your preferred lighting settings, turn the light on for 30 seconds, and then immediately switch it off. Power it back on, and your preferred settings will have saved.
How do I install the Acupanel® Glow Beam?
Installation is quick and easy! The Acupanel® Glow Beam is designed to fit between the slats of our Acupanel® Acoustic, Luxe, and Elegance ranges. Simply screw the base into the gap between the slats, and attach the LED lighting unit to the magnetic ball bearing. Please see our installation guide here for all details on setup.
Can I install the Beam onto the slats of the panel instead of between the panels?
The Acupanel® Glow Beam base is designed to fit between the slats of most of our panels, but can be installed on the slat itself. We recommend using longer screws than what we provide, to ensure the screw goes through the slat and the wall for the most secure fit.
I want my light to be permanently fixed to the panel. Can I do that?
You can! Once screwed in, the Acupanel® Glow Beam base does not need to be moved, providing a fixed location for the light to attach too.
Can I install the Beam light to a wall without a panel?
Yes! The Beam is designed to fit between the panels slats, but it can also be installed onto a wall with the provided screws.
Can the Acupanel® Glow Beam be used outside?
The Acupanel® Glow Beam is designed for interior use only.
Can I install the Acupanel® Glow Beam in a kitchen or bathroom?
The Acupanel® Glow Beam can be installed in a kitchen or bathroom, but must be installed away from water, heavy steam, and extreme heat sources.
What comes in the box?
The Acupanel® Beam comes with one Beam light, magnetic base, USB-A to USB-C cable, 4 screws, and 4 wall plugs. A USB wall charger is not included. Please see our installation guide here for all details on setup.
