How to install
  1. 1

    Prepare the substrate

    The surface should be flat, clean, and dust-free. Sand any rough patches and wipe down before bonding. Decoflex bonds to most rigid substrates: MDF, plywood, chipboard, solid timber.

    Apply the adhesive

    Choose a veneer adhesive suited to the job. Titebond Cold Press for repositionable PVA bonding, or contact adhesive such as TensorGrip for instant grab. Apply to both surfaces per the manufacturer's instructions.

  3. 3

    Press the veneer

    Lay the sheet face up and press from the centre outwards using a veneer roller or smooth block, working any air bubbles toward the edges.

  4. 4

    Trim and finish

    Trim flush with a sharp craft knife or trimming tool. Decoflex arrives pre-sanded to 150 grit, ready to finish with the varnish, stain, or wax of your choice.

Description

What is Decoflex Wood Veneer? Decoflex is an innovative veneer product using the latest in technology with natural veneer to create a easy-to-use, flexible veneer sheet.

The jointed veneer sheet is first pressed onto paper and then the fibres within the wood are broken to allow maximum flexibility. It is then pre-sanded with a 150 grain so that it is ready to be finished with any varnish, stain or wax you may choose.

All Decoflex sheets are sized at 244cm x 122cm ( 96" x 48" ) and the overall thickness of Decoflex is between 0.4mm and 0.6mm

The wood veneer that bends.

Real wood sliced thin enough to bend. The fibres in the timber are broken open during manufacture, which is what lets the sheet wrap curved doors, columns and alcoves where solid panels cannot follow.

Where joinery meets surface: edge banding, curved cabinetry, custom doors, alcove returns. Real wood across the places solid timber was never going to reach.

We offer free delivery to mainland UK on most orders. Delivery to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and offshore islands incurs a surcharge calculated at checkout. You are also welcome to collect from our warehouse in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.
