Wood Veneer Description

Thuya wood is sourced from North Africa, mainly the regions of the Atlas mountains. The hard heartwood varies in colour from a shiny Golden Brown to a dark tinge that is almost Black at times. The grain areas often known as the "eyes" are dense and burly which gives a wonderful figuring.

The Thuya Burl has an aromatic and strong scent with an oily like texture. very This is an incredibly beautiful veneer and therefore popular with designers and woodworkers who are drawn in by its unique wood pattern.

Please be aware that width measurements are taken from the middle part of the sheet. This means that the width may taper below or above the stated measurement so please allow for an extra few cm or get in contact for exact measurements.
