We photograph every product as accurately as possible. Because we use real wood and natural materials, subtle variations in grain pattern and tone occur between production batches. This is a characteristic of genuine wood, not a defect. We always recommend ordering a sample to confirm the colour and texture in your own lighting.

Can shaker wall panelling be treated with fire retardant paint?

Shaker wall panelling can be protected with fire retardant paint. Many types of fire retardant paints exist and can be used, e.g. the fire retardant paint AL20 (Aithon).

Yes, since all products have a matt primed surface. They have to be finished with a final coat of paint.

Can you also place shaker panelling on painted surfaces?

Yes, you can. However, the paint must have a clean, dry and non-greasy surface. The paint adhesion must be good. It is essential to always sand off any remaining dirt and loose paint.

Can shaker wall panels be applied to wallpaper?

It is best to remove the wallpaper before you install the shaker wall panelling.
