You are also welcome to collect from our warehouse in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

Yes. Samples are available across most product ranges so you can see and feel the real material before committing. Acoustic panel, wood veneer, and cork tile samples can all be ordered. Order as many as you need, and when you place your panel order we refund the cost of your samples. Check individual product pages for availability.

We photograph every product as accurately as possible. Because we use real wood and natural materials, subtle variations in grain pattern and tone occur between production batches. This is a characteristic of genuine wood, not a defect. We always recommend ordering a sample to confirm the colour and texture in your own lighting.

Panels behind a TV are one of the most popular feature wall projects. They hide cables neatly when batten-mounted. For fireplaces, keep panels at least 200mm from any heat source. Standard Acupanel® panels are not heat-resistant. If your fireplace generates significant radiant heat, consider our fire-rated range or consult a professional.

Our Acupanel® Wood range is designed to be finished in any colour. Wood veneer panels can be stained or oiled but are not designed for opaque paint, as the natural grain will always show through. If you want a solid colour, we recommend choosing from our colour panel range.

Standard wood panels and acoustic felt backing are not waterproof and should not be used in direct water contact areas such as shower enclosures or behind kitchen splashbacks. For bathrooms, panels work well on dry walls away from the shower zone. For kitchen splashbacks, we recommend glass or tile behind the hob and panels on adjacent walls.

Acupanel® panels can be fitted with construction adhesive, screws, or battens. For the best acoustic performance, we recommend batten-mounting with mineral wool insulation in the cavity behind. Kitchens are fine away from direct water. For bathrooms and wet rooms choose Acupanel® Hydro, built for steam and splashes; standard wood veneer panels prefer dry rooms.

Acupanel® is designed for interior use only. For outdoor wall cladding, see our Plaank® composite range or our Nordic Outdoor® thermally modified wood range. Both are engineered for permanent exterior exposure.
