Simply use a construction glue or grab adhesive to glue the trim in place, and slot the Acupanel® Glow LED strip into place. Apply pressure on the trim to ensure there is a good adhesion. A small amount of glue may be required to hold the LED in place, especially when installed horizontally.
Please be aware that the LED trims can sometimes arrive with a slight bend, which is common when veneering a product on a select few sides. We recommend using construction glue and working up from the bottom, straightening the trim as you go. With a strong construction glue, this manual straightening will hold the end piece straight in place.
We advise against using tape on the melamine end trims during the cutting process, to avoid damaging the surface finish. For any questions or advice, please contact our friendly customer service team.
Our Acupanel® LED Trims are designed to fit the Acoustic Slat Panel range. These are not designed to fit the Luxe or Elegance panels.
The Acupanel® range is fully stocked in our UK warehouse, and we offer free delivery on the range! You are also welcome to collect from our UK warehouse.

Installing our new LED trims range is quick and easy! Simply use a strong construction glue or grab adhesive, and slowly stick the trim in place next to the panel. Then, use the supplied velcro strips, or glue, to fit the LED trim into the pre-made channel. For horizontal applications, a small amount of glue may need to be used to help the LED remain in place.
The panels and trims not only offer aesthetic refinement and superior acoustic dampening, but they are also produced using only environmentally friendly materials. We pride ourselves on using high-quality materials to ensure your product is build to last.
The Acupanel® LED Trims are shipped individually in boxes. If purchased with panels, the trim will be included in the box, and if purchased as a bundle with the Glow LED trim, they will be shipped in the same tube.
All of our trims are available in a 240cm x 60cm size. Currently, we do not offer an extended length in our LED trims, but they can be seamlessly joined to cover a larger area as needed.

We do not currently offer the LED trim in custom sizes; however, we have designed them to be easily cut if you need smaller. They also can be joined together seamlessly if you need bigger.
The LED trims will be absolutely fine in these areas, as long as they are not in direct contact with water. We do recommend applying a water-resistant finish to the trim to protect them against any moisture or humidity wherever possible though. Our Glow LED light strips are not suitable to be used in high heat or moisture areas, however, so please consult with a qualified tradesperson to advise you further.
The Acupanel® LED Trim range is designed for interior use only.
It is straightforward to adjust the end trims to fit around any object. You can cut them widthways or lengthways with a saw, to then fit around any item you may have on your surface.
You can mount the trims on all surfaces including brick, concrete and plasterboard. They are designed to be used with our Acupanel® Acoustic wall panelling only.
The wood used is always from the same source so they will always look more or less the same. It is natural wood, however, so knots, slight cracks and colour variations can occur. Get in touch if you would like us to send you pictures of the exact batch you could potentially receive.
The LED trim is designed as a finishing product for the Acupanel® Acoustic panelling range.
The coloured end trims are not wrapped on the ends so if you are wanting to do a half wall panel with a trim, we suggest another vertical trim to cover the exposed edge.
The LED trims are designed to be used when the panels are flush to the wall. If the panels are mounted on battens, there will be a visible gap between the wall and trim due to the increased distance.
It is always advised to finish natural wood to protect it and, more importantly, to make it look even better than it already does. We now offer a decorative satin oil-finished panel for our Contemporary Oak and Contemporary Walnut panels, to take out the hassle of finishing the panels yourself. Please note that this is a decorative finish only, providing no protection against heat, water or humidity.
We do, and we offer free delivery to mainland UK for the Acupanel® range! You are also welcome to collect directly from our warehouse.
You can return unused Acupanel® products within 30 days after delivery.
