The application process for wood veneers inside car interiors depends on the type of wood you’re putting in. You’ll need several tools, such as a heat gun and sandpaper. We have wood veneer tools available to help with application, and you can always contact us with questions.
Decorative wood veneer is a thin coating whereas burl veneer is a thicker, more distinctive veneer. The veins of the burl wood veneers vary a great deal more in pattern than the decorative wood veneer as well.
Although the best veneer for your project depends on your needs and preferences, we recommend decorative veneer for your classic car.
Restoration and repair depend on the condition of your wood veneer. Typically, wood veneer can be restored with the correct finishes. Sometimes, however, full replacement is necessary.
