The handcrafted panels are not only designed to fit in with the latest trends, but also are also easy to install to your wall or ceiling.
Acupanel® wood panels are perfect for both residential and commercial application. From home interior design projects to restaurant refurbishments to large scale hotel developments.

Acupanel® is the perfect solution for efficient sound absorption, as well as lowering the reverberation time of noise in your space.
The panel obtains an absorption coefficient of 0.97 at a frequency of 1,000 Hz. Acupanels are most efficient between 500 - 2,000 Hz meaning they are perfect for domestic and commercial use.
The Acupanel® acoustic felt is made from recycled plastic bottles, and all of the wood comes from sustainable forestry, making the panels not only incredibly attractive but also environmentally friendly.
When you buy an Acupanel®, you are not only transforming your space but by helping remove the waste from the world's oceans you are also doing something great for the environment.
The panels only come in one size, but we have designed them to join both widthways and long ways seamlessly so any length or width can easily be achieved.
If you are looking to obtain a class A sound absorption, then we recommend installing the panels with batons. However, if you would like to have them for decorative purposes while still providing some sound absorption, we recommend screwing the panels directly into the wall through the acoustic felt backing using black or grey screws depending on your choice of backing.
The panels are usually in stock, so delivery takes 1-2 days. If we do have to wait for a new production run then it can be 2-3 weeks but please get in contact at the point of order, and we can confirm this right away.
We do not currently offer the panels in custom sizes; however, we have designed them to be easily cut if you need smaller. They also join together seamlessly if you need bigger.
The panels will be absolutely fine in these areas as long as they are not in direct contact of water.
The Acupanel range is designed for indoor use only.
It is straightforward to adjust the panels to fit around any object. You can cut the slats widthways with a saw, and you can cut the felt lengthways with a sharp blade to then apply around any item you may have on your surface.
You can mount the panels on all surfaces including brick, concrete and plasterboard walls.
The wood used is always from the same source so they will always look more or less the same. It is natural wood, however, so knots, slight cracks and colour variations can occur. Get in toch if you would like us to send you pictures of the exact batch you could potentially receive.
Our Acupanel range is on display in our warehouse in Leighton Buzzard so if you would like to come and see the panels in person you are more than welcome.
The panels look beautiful as they are, but we do offer individual slats if you would like to install one to the side of your Acupanel hiding the edges.
You certainly can.
If installing with batons, then you can use mineral wool or other sound insulation material in-between the gaps which will increase the sound absorption properties even more.
You can return unused Acupanels within 30 days after delivery.
